About us

Our Charity Mission

Our mission at Holding Hearts is to extend our reach to hospitals across the UK, providing essential baby loss resources and memory hearts to families grieving the loss of a baby. We believe in the importance of remembering every baby, offering solace and support to families during their most challenging times. By partnering with hospitals and healthcare providers, we aim to make our resources available to every family in need.

Who we are

Welcome to Holding Hearts, where compassion meets remembrance. At Holding Hearts, we are dedicated to supporting families through the heart-wrenching experience of baby loss. Our mission is to provide comfort, resources, and a lasting tribute to every baby who has touched our hearts, ensuring their memory lives on.

In January 2021, after having her 3rd baby, our Founder, Jessica Perry, decided to raise money through a raffle to purchase baby loss resources for Gloucestershire hospital. Jess and her husband, Luke, experienced 4 miscarriages between 2016 and 2020, and she wanted to give back to the department who had helped her through.

The raffle was a success and raised just over £200. After purchasing the books and some memory hearts, Jess’s fundraising efforts were recognised locally.

After a radio interview on BBC Radio Gloucestershire, what was supposed to just be a one-off fundraiser became the catalyst for our charity.

What we provide

At Holding Hearts, we focus on providing the following resources and support to hospitals and families:

Baby Loss Resources: We supply hospitals with baby loss books and materials that offer guidance and support to parents grieving the loss of a baby.

Memory Hearts: Our beautifully crafted memory hearts are given to families as a tangible keepsake, honoring the memory of their baby and providing comfort in their time of loss.

Support and Understanding: All of our trustees have personally experienced baby loss, allowing us to offer compassionate and empathetic support to grieving families.
